A small upstairs bedroom would serve as a personal retreat and an escape from the everyday. The rear wall was painted a warm
golden shade while the queen size daybed was placed diagonally in the corner. A rich burgundy embroidered canopy was created
above the bed coordinating with the raw silk comforter, while a golden mosaic lamp provided a welcoming glow beneath. Pillows in
rich fabrics, fur and beaded designs acquired from several countries provided exotic touches and the princess treatment the client
desired. A Persian rug and a colorful lantern as well as a custom silk Roman shade complete the look for the space. Whether the
warm glow of sunrise fills the room or the soothing glow of an Indian lantern blankets the space in the evening, the escape from the
everyday is assured by this beautiful and exotic environment.
